In 2022, Nike will commemorate the 40th anniversary of the advent of one of its most iconic shapes, Air Force 1. The model is known to release new color schemes and collaborations in droves, and every year you can expect a swish double drop for this important celebration, and a brand that is confirmed to lend its creative connection to its mid-top Respect the streetwear label Stacey. The California-based brand first revealed its upcoming black and white makeup earlier this month, and now official photos of the couple have appeared. The color palette here follows a simple and clean pattern of Yin and Yang. The toe box, coins, collar and tongue are all soft white, while the flipped leather Swooshes, overlays and ankle straps are painted black. Unlike the traditional Nike brand that dropped on the shoulder straps and tongue, Stüssy redesigned these areas, using its city logo in the former and embroidered text in the latter. In addition, the SS logo of the western coat brand appears on the toe box in the form of perforations and on the top of the metal badge on the heel.
